Khuraman Eynulla gizi Aliyeva (Azerbaijani: Xuraman Eynulla qızı Əliyeva; born 15 July 1956, Aghdash, Jalilabad District) is an Azerbaijani entrepreneur and public figure. Alongside her business activity, she is known for her active participation in socio-political life and charitable initiatives. She was awarded the "Taraggi" medal by decree of the President of Azerbaijan.

Since the early years of independence she has actively participated in Azerbaijan's socio-political life, especially in electoral processes. For many years she served as a member and secretary of district and precinct election commissions, representing the women of the Southern region.

Life and education

Khuraman Aliyeva was born on 15 July 1956 in the village of Aghdash, Jalilabad District. In 1973 she graduated with honours from the Privolnoye village secondary school.

Education

She received her vocational education in the "Commodity science of industrial goods" department of the Baku Cooperative College. She later completed her higher education in the Finance department of the Azerbaijan State Economic University (UNEC).

She is married and has three children.

Activity

Work and business activity

She began her career as a commodity expert in the city of Goytepe, Jalilabad District. In 1993, in connection with the start of privatization processes in Azerbaijan, she leased a large commercial property in Goytepe and began individual business activity. She continues to work today as the head of that trade centre.

Socio-political activity

Since the early years of independence she has actively participated in Azerbaijan's socio-political life, especially in electoral processes. For many years she served as a member and secretary of district and precinct election commissions.

She is an active member of the Jalilabad district organization of the New Azerbaijan Party. She participated as a delegate at congresses of Azerbaijani women, representing the women of the Southern region, and is an active participant in republic-level events organized by the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs.

Charitable activity

The Patriotic War period: during and after the 44-day war, she provided regular material and moral support to families of martyrs, veterans and war disabled.

The pandemic period: during the COVID-19 pandemic, as part of social responsibility, she opened a medical mask production workshop and distributed a large part of the products free of charge to those in need and to state institutions.
